Simple English please…

Sometimes I really wish the Divine communicated in simple English.

The following movie played while I did an hour of back-rubs at one of my elder care buildings. I knew it was a message for me.

Now, it was on Turner Classic Movies, and it’s not unusual for that channel to be on at pretty much all of my buildings. However, I always know there’s a message in the particular movie I’m seeing, when I’m confronted with the same movie on multiple TV’s, in a seamless manner, and where at least one of the TV’s would normally be on an alternate option.

This was such a case. Usually the one TV is on a different subject matter to give residents a choice of which place they wish to gather. But as I finished one area and walked to the other I was extremely aware of the seamless viewing experience.

It also doesn’t help the subject matter from my perspective seemed to have overlapping elements for my life. Something causing an involuntary disconnect from a love interest.

The song the character Terry taught to the kids also is very supportive of law of attraction, and nearly made me cry.

Wishing will make it so
Just keep on wishing and care will go
Dreamers tell us dreams come true
It’s no mistake
Wishes are the dreams we dream
When we’re awake

The curtain of night will part
If you are certain within your heart
So if you wish long enough
Wish strong enough
You will come to know
Wishing will make it so

Just imagine that you are back in childhood days
Wishing on the evening star or a load of hay
It worked wonders for you then, who knows why or how
Though you’re older, try again it can help, you know

Wishing will make it so
Just keep on wishing and care will go
Dreamers tell us dreams come true
It’s no mistake
Wishes are the dreams we dream
When we’re awake

The curtain of night will part
If you are certain within your heart
So if you wish long enough
Wish strong enough
You will come to know
Wishing will make it so

In the movie, Terry was paralyzed by a car hitting her as she was trying to get to her love, and her fear of his response prevented her from contacting him as she attempted to find her full recovery.

I’m sitting here knowing I was cut off, but still feeling him. Then seeing this and knowing it carries a message for me.

I find myself hoping for his sake that it wasn’t something that extreme. Yet, like the Michel character, even if that was the case I would still love him. Physical woes are hardly a reason to give up on someone, if that were the case I’d have walked away from Nathan just as we were getting started.

Anyway, I simply don’t understand fully. I’ve had other HAL induced messages that imply my death dream the other night was metaphorical, and that he’s made decisions that will eventually lead to communication. I look forward to that, and full honesty and disclosure. Beyond that, everyone deserves a 2nd chance, and it’s up to him at this point to take it and make the best of it. I’m willing to do so.

May you all have your second chances and the awareness to make the most of them.
