I’ve had two wonderfully heavy days at work, so even though I had planned to write a long post of many things I’m currently experiencing gratitude for, I am simply too tired for more than a short update.
My back wants to be back to normal, and is oh so close, but there is one nagging spot left and a couple of secondary referred pain regions. Otherwise, without taking my shirt off, you would never know I fell or did anything to fix it. Shirt off is a whole nother story… I’ve got a huge swath of very dark cupping marks.
The office manager noticed I needed a little lift toward the end of my day and showed me how much improvement I have made since starting at the clinic. She took a headshot and then held her phone next to the picture used on the clinic website. I was finally able to see some difference. It was encouraging. I will keep following my bread crumbs and eventually I might actually be at a normal BMI with a healed thyroid.
My CV has edits needed, but none too huge, so it’s almost done. After the edits I’ll have it re-proofed for any grammatical errors and start typing my desired course descriptions. Did I mention that is a slow mentally challenging process?!
I have a half dozen other small goals for near future, including planting some plants gifted to me by a wonderful client.
For now I’m off to bed for much needed rest.
May you see your improvement. May you know your goals are reachable. May you see the things you have accomplished. May you have many many moments of gratitude.
