I finished my Hamsa ink drawing. It is 3.5″ x 4″, micron pigma pen on cold press watercolor paper. Progression and finished image below.
My inspiration image, took me forever to decide on. There were so many to choose from, but I wanted women’s hair with a view from the rear angle and there were far fewer that fit the bill. I was going for wispy hair, and no truly wispy hair was at the angle I wanted.
Also, since I am sticking to ink for InkTober I wanted to go more illustrative for this one. I chose to use a sharpie fine point pen, and again the smoothe side of Strathmore cold press watercolor paper. Also on my salvaged approximately 4×4 bundle.
Final product below. Sorry I forgot to do stages at all. Sometimes I get so focused I forget everything else. Plus this one went much faster than the beta fish.
May you have ample creative moments. May you have fun with ink. May you enjoy your art. May you have a wonderful blessed October.
