Cartoon Energetics

I wanted to write a bit about how I’m impressed by current animated experiences. It seems that screen time is more frequently being produced by people with a higher awareness of our expansive world, and I’m very appreciative of that.

That being said, my thoughts on this topic originally started because of watching “She-Ra” with my kids. It is imperative that I acknowledge most of the elements in the current “She-Ra” series were also present in the original “Masters of the Universe” series from the early 80’s, and merely got a face-lift to match current real world concerns.

So, what am I talking about?

I am talking about the element of cartoons that addresses the magical portion of our life experiences. I am talking about the elements within cartoon stories that address how to utilize the energetic world and God force.

For example, in the 2018 She-Ra, Adora channeled her magical She-Ra self, first by holding the sword up and saying the right phrase, then the crown appears with it’s shiney jewel, and then the sword lights up with power, which triggers full transformation. However this is just a slight update from the 1980’s “Masters of the Universe” series.

In the original series He-Man and She-Ra both raise their swords and say the correct phrase and convert fairly instantly. Yet, She-Ra still got the shiney crown and jewel, but He-Man turned barbarian. Both still became stronger and superhuman.

I personally am very glad that the new series updated that moment. Mainly because the original implied it was barberous for men to use magic, but grandeur for women to use magic. When, as in the new version, gender has nothing to do with it- I really appreciate that. I would also argue He-Man might have done better with the crown activated. You see that, to use real God force energy, we all must activate our crown and third-eye first.

God force can flow, and cause some fairly magical results. You will never see the real version look the way it does in those cartoons, and it won’t enable you to hoist a castle like He-Man did, but it will do things for you that you can never do just as your plain human self, and it can make you stronger than usual.

The Reiki that I practice daily with clients utilizes that God force energy I’m talking about, and I have seen it do amazing things for clients, especially in regards to their muscles. But it has to be used properly or it can cause problems.

I do have to activate my crown chakra and then my third eye chakra to get the energy flowing, just like She-Ra. It feels warm and fuzzy and wonderful. I utilize specific phrases, which are essentially prayers in Japanese (which is why english speakers often refer to them as symbols, if you aren’t used to seeing/reading Japanese they might as well be), but that too is just like She-Ra. Once the energy is flowing, I use more phrases to tell it what to be or do, just like when She-Ra changed her sword into shield, rope and many more useful things.

It really is so similar that I knew the cartoon makers were either well informed or had experienced energy work. Especially since these particular elements apply to any version of energy work, even Healing Touch which uses biblical prayers and phrases.

So where do the problems come in?

Just like when Adora was “trying to learn to be She-Ra”, things don’t always go as planned. She accidentally turned her sword to a vase in training, and sometimes it didn’t deploy when she needed it. Even though She-Ra was already a part of her, she didn’t have full control and couldn’t rely on it. Eventually that worked itself out and in the end she didn’t even need the physical device that primarily functioned as a sword. She eventually channeled every bit of all of it, out of thin air, to do absolutely wonderous things.

Energy work is the same way. I’ve had moments where it didn’t deploy when I needed it (usually because I was too fatigued or unfocused). Additionally, if it isn’t used properly, I’ve seen it do all kinds of things. I’ve seen people drain watch and clock batteries, make lights flicker, and accidentally cause plant overgrowth. All because they were not using energy work correctly. For you see, activating your crown and third eye, tells God that you want to do good for God and only use divine energy for the task at hand. That ensures that you don’t pull energy from your environment and drain batteries. It also can help with the sensations for clients. Those that are sensitive to EMF frequencies tend to have dizziness, nausea, and other weird responses to environmentally sourced energy. However, those same clients tend to notice God force in the best ways and often know instantly that you have a divine gift (though rarely say anything unless they’ve been to another practitioner already). As for the plant overgrowth, it tends to be from a lack of focus for the practitioner. If you aren’t focused on the client and let your mind wander too much, you essentially over-water your own environment, and anything in it can benefit some. It’s not a horrible thing, but if your goal was to help a paying client, then you didn’t do them full justice.

So, yes She-Ra really impressed me with their depictions of utilizing energy for good deeds. One day we may have a world full of She-Ra’s. For now the strength I glean enables me to work longer hours, use more pressure than the average massage therapist (without doing harm), and occasionally I take advantage of it’s benefits for hoisting my husband into the air, or taunting him or friends from across the room. It’s quite wonderful once you begin to master it.

But Wait, There’s More!

I watched the Netflix original “MUNE” with my kids. It was really good and cute BTW. It too delves into magic energies, but in a slightly more fantastical way. Really though, there were two elements that caught my attention. One was where the character Mune used his gift to put babies to sleep and create happy dreams. The other was the final fight scene between the two big burly guys (over simplification of their description).

The gift to use energy to put babies to sleep and make pleasant dreams is real. I’ve done it with the Reiki myself. Now, when your baby has been screaming for hours from starvation due to a major reduction in breast milk, even powerful energy work will fail. But, when the baby is just cranky because they need a nap, it works like a charm. Nathan and I have put all our kids to sleep, many times over, with energy work, and it ensures long nights of undisturbed happy dreaming. It also works on us adults, Nathan regularly helps me fall asleep when I’ve had a rough day or I’m battling other people’s Energetics. I am extremely grateful we have both learned how to use this amazing gift.

Finally, that over simplified fight scene. It was between two hulk’s, one larger and angrier. The one that held all the anger seemed at first to be winning, and almost brought the lesser hulk to the dark side. But, the magic won and the smaller of the two calmed himself back into the focused fight of light over darkness. In the end it was a combination of the smaller finding his light again, and Mune using a little of his sweet dreams magic that enabled a solid win for the divine side. They joined forces in a quite magical way to ensure that the world would be safe and happy forever more.

It was a good reminder to me. It reminded me that it’s not just strength needed to win, you also need to know you are fighting the good fight. It’s not just muscle that is needed in a battle, you also need the finesse of a magical touch or talent. We all need to allow our magical selves to shine brightly. Show the world our inner-beings and what we’re truly made of, so that we can really do good for this world. Only if we find our gifts, and utilize them to our fullest potential can we overcome the darkness that constantly threatens our dreams.

May you have good reminders in your experience for just what you are capable of. May you understand your magical, gifted, energetic self, and know exactly how to bring that forth. May you know how to utilize all of your gifts to their fullest potential. If you don’t already, then may you find just the right teacher to figure it out. May you master all of your skills and find that they help you create the world of your dreams. May we all join forces too combat the darkness in our world for God’s sake. May you know that we are headed towards brighter days. Above all, may you know that God loves and supports you in all that you do and every bit of who you are.

I deserve to feel good.

After having found the alignment through the climb my last several posts reflected, I knew I needed to milk it. The feeling place of those high vibration moments needed to do me some major good. It was time to focus on the feelings I want more of in my body and in my world.

Thinking about the joy and freedom felt in camp was a good start, but I want more.

I deserve to feel good and see results that others will also see. I deserve for my entire body to come into alignment, even blood sugars and thyroid function, all the things that doctors document. So far some of that has improved significantly and some of that seems worse. I use seems, because sometimes seeming worse is actually on your way to improvement (detoxing is a really good example of that).

I spent a long time focusing on feeling good in my body. I did my usual moving meditation to snap, crackle, and pop my joints back into alignment. I did some more moving meditation, almost like yoga, to stretch out some of my tight muscle spots. Then I was down to just a few of my extra stubborn areas. One is my right rhomboid. I have had times where other massage therapists spent 20 minutes just on that one muscle and it’s trigger points. Well on this occasion I simple rested my hand (more my finger-tips for ease in reach) on the trigger point and used several visuals to help relax it. My touch was the focus mechanism to ‘put the power there’ (that’s a rough translation of one of the Reiki symbols I use). Then once I engaged the energy in that spot I moved through more intense Reiki symbols. I visualized being She-Ra in her moments of healing (I’m going to write more on that soon). I visualized the muscle being like a pat of butter on a hot skillet. Eventually all of it put together, the muscle did give in and relax. It took a long while, it really wanted to hold on. I really had to convince it that it was off duty and didn’t have to do anything.

Then I moved on from structural elements. I felt for and visualized energy of love in and around my body. I let it start from my heart with loving myself. I thought of all the pieces of myself that I genuinely appreciate. Once I had the feeling of the vibration of self-love, I pushed it around my body mentally. Sometimes I would have to stop and focus on something about an area that could be loved. For instance, my thighs still carry much more adipose that I prefer, so I had to focus on their strength, the fact they can lift 210 pounds in addition to my body weight, the fact that they propel me everyday and everywhere I go. That enabled the love vibration to flow in those areas.

When all was said and done, I felt genuinely spectacular. The only drawback was it took what seemed forever. It was the better part of my Sunday afternoon, and though I didn’t watch the clock, I know it took a couple of hours or more.

My goal is to get to a level of health and focused thought that my process described here is more like a normal meditation. It will probably take much practice over a long while. It seems that most of my basic goals like this take about 9 to 10 months to fruition… Hmmm… I’m seeing a correlation with pregnancy. Anyway, I have noted that I do create positive changes, but it definitely takes a while, and progress still frustrates me on occasion when it’s technically there, but less than desired.

May you have good healing meditative moments. May you genuinely feel self-love. May you convey to your body that you do care for it in all the ways you know of. May your body generally cooperate with you and show you good positive results more quickly and in bigger more noticeable ways. May you know that beyond everything God loves and supports you in all that you do and are.

Reaching

Preface:

This a multi topic post that I’m not sure if it will wrap up concisely. I’m still following the rabbit hole myself. I apologise in advance if it is clear as mud.

Also, I am human and just because I reach for something doesn’t mean I actually accomplish it 100% of the time myself. I do my best, but as in all things, sometimes we humans fall short of our goals. We also often have ideals that can be hard to maintain consistently. Topics of this post could definitely fall in that category for me.

And so it begins.

Two conversations this morning caught my attention and started me down a rabbit hole of thought.

The first conversation included a comment about one party having passed something by their father. The second conversation included statements about work and enjoying being the low person on the totem pole even though their manager wanted to promote them to a managerial position. Both conversations triggered thoughts for me from my perspective and I know it somehow fits together. I’m attempting to type to that conclusion.

The details:

Conversation 1:  An adult referenced running a deal by his father for input. He respects his father’s business sense and wanted to follow the father’s advice. In regards to the fullness of the conversation from my perspective, my intuition told me he was right, and in this situation listening to father’s advice was a good call.

What it stirred in me is really interesting though. My knee jerk reaction is usually: “Why would a younger adult pass something by their parents? There are so many places to look for successful input, but even more it’s an opportunity to use your own guidance system.”

This is due to many factors, one of which is that I have been surrounded by elders that were busy keeping up with the Joneses and playing corporate games to ultimately just be miserable. This was strongly evident in my parents, but also in friends’ parents. Most of the older generation from my perspective was busy chasing “good jobs” to make just enough to look like they were doing ok. Then they would spend hours of their lives making sure that they could keep up appearances and managing to keep bills paid. They were all miserable most of the time. I never wanted to be like that. I wanted more financial success- true, but more I wanted to be happier, more satisfied with my life.

Beyond that aspect, my father was an especially good example of what not to do, and most of my efforts have been directed at attempting to be the opposite of him. He was never happy, his good jobs- never were, and his bumping elbows always seemed excessive to me.

For instance, the things he told others, he never said directly to us. A good example was when I was in middle school learning flute and he would tell others how wonderful I was, but at home, if he said anything about it at all, it was to make sure my grades were still “up” and that I was doing what I was supposed to, practicing enough, etc. There was always an air of ‘you can do better’ no matter how good I was already doing.

My father was also extremely vocal about what he wanted us as kids to do, and our choices were never acceptable to him, or at least it seemed to me. I was well informed many times over that I should be an engineer and that art and music would never make me money. Well I proved I could make money off of art (still do), and I know I could off of music if I wanted to, but I chose another option out of other desires and wish for greater amounts of money to be made. I still never became his precious engineer.

Why? I just could never understand how someone that was so miserable could push so hard that someone else do what they did. I always just knew for certain that if I had any chance of finding success and being happy congruently, that I had to do a lot of things differently than my father. I saw that his system was failing him daily in many many ways, and I wanted better.

Sometimes I beat my head up against the things that he scolded into us on a regular basis. It’s hard to duck around something that was both proverbially and literally beaten into you, brainwashing is very real; but when I can see his patterns clearly as being separate from mine, I make every effort possible to do something different, aiming for better.

Mostly, I feel like I have been successful and I am far from being my father. I have moments of failure, but in general, I am definitely my own person. I can’t claim daily effortless happiness, but I’m far closer to that idea than he even considered. My financial success may not be greater yet, but I’m matching dollar for dollar but with more to show for it. That alone gives me hope for greater in the near future. So potentially I have improved in both financial and emotional happiness.

Personally, I just prefer reaching for better than my parents did because they set such good examples of what not to do. The conversation I heard this morning, really just pushed the acknowledgement within myself that I have good reasons to not look to my parents for guidance, but that others might find as many or more reasons to seek parental guidance. Really, most anyone seeks guidance from those that they trust on a given topic, and parents just happen to cover multiple topics for children.

But, that takes me one step further into seeking guidance from outside of one’s self to seeking guidance from inside one’s self.

Because I was so bent on trying to reach the opposite of my father, I had to examine all of my options closely and listen to my inner guidance system to try and choose. Sometimes I would feel like the truly-best-option was out of my reach, so I would then aim for the best I could. Regardless, I was always trying to decipher how I felt about my known available choices.

I also always knew when something dad was trying to convince me of didn’t mesh with my inner-being. Every time he told me I was wrong, I would have an internal reaction along the lines of “that’s what you think, wanna bet?!”. Specific examples that come to mind was when he tried to tell me seeking a liberal arts degree was suicide, or that marrying Nathan was a huge mistake. 2 kids and 2 careers later I still disagree with him. I am a better person because of both of them, and the challenges were worth every bit of effort.

My point is that whether or not you look to those you trust for guidance, the best guidance anyone could ever find is within themselves. If you ask others, you get their known choices and preferences, which can help you see more options- something very helpful if you feel uninformed. However, they can only give you what they know, and they might not know enough to give you a truly balanced set of choices. Even if you utilize others to expand your knowledge and choices, you still need to ask your inner-being what is best for you at this time. That is the only real way to know for certain what you should do in this moment with what is available to you. Our inner-being is always our best advocate.

Conversation 2: Someone was telling me about how their job wants them to be a next level manager because they are good at everything and know a lot about the products and processes. They were expressing a combination of appreciation over the acknowledgement, and frustration because they like their job just the way it is. They like not having so much responsibility and a bit less work.

This tied in with the other conversation for me because it was about weighing the pros and cons and doing what is right for you. You still have to listen to your inner-being.

Also, it made me realize that just because you are very appreciative of acknowledgement of your skills, does not mean you have to deviate from what you desire.

The conversation left me with a sense that she really just wanted to stay in the job she had, that it made her happy. I wanted to tell her to stick to her guns and do what made her happy, let them find someone else to promote. However, I stopped short of saying that because I know it is ultimately her choice, and in this moment she may be focused on the good reasons to stay, but that she may have vibrationally asked for things that the promotion would bring. I would have no way of knowing that. It is hard to be totally in someone else’s thought processes and know their vibrational balance.

I have had a similar mix myself on many occasions. I currently have a mix on current topics, and I’m doing my best to sort through it all emotionally, from where I am currently at. Sometimes we just need to say things out loud to another person to help solidify how we feel inside. Sometimes it helps to list all of the pros for both and look to see which option has more pros (I usually don’t involve the cons if I can help it, they muddle things to much, and everything has cons.) Regardless of how you get there, ultimately it’s a conversation between you and YOU. Your human self really just needs to check in with your higher-self to see what the best answer is right now. That is ultimately all we could ever hope for anyway.

It’s hard to do sometimes, with so much going on finding the quiet space to get that answer is a challenge. Also it often can be even harder to stick to, especially when others try to convince you otherwise. Yet if your inner-being says it is the best, then it is always the best thing for you. You inner-being never lies about that.

God doesn’t lie, humans do. Always trust God force over human input.

Finally, there was one other moment today that somehow fits.

Conversation 3: The accupincturist at the clinic was telling me how she always scolds women to “Stop It!” when they start apologizing for being sweaty, or dirty from work, or not having shaved. She explained men never apologize for such things and neither should women. I agree with her wholeheartedly. Women do tend to over apologise for things they need not care about. However, I would say that some men do as well.

The next time you feel the need to apologise for something relatively benign, ask yourself, is this a necessary apology? Ask yourself, if someone was presenting that to you, would you be offended? Ask yourself, would you want or need an apology in a reversed situation?  Ask yourself how would you act if your gender was different?

Sometimes genders do over apologise, and sometimes genders under apologise because of the feeling that it’s just built in to your own gender. Be aware of those faux pas, and make amends to your level of apologetics regardless as to whether it is too much or not enough. It is always kind to apologise when you feel you are not at your best for a given situation. It is also kind to yourself to acknowledge that not every lapse must become a long apology. There is a happy medium we can do our best to reach for and our inner being will guide the way on that topic too.

May you sense your inner-being and it’s trustworthy guidance on all topics. May you find it easy to reach for the best option for you in any given moment or experience. May you be kind to yourself and others. May you find the right guidance in every respect. May you hear your inner-being easily. May you know that God loves and supports in every way through your connection with your higher-self.
